Language Extender package includes drivers of Russian Lenovo ET980 on-screen keyboard and Russian regional settings. As optional feature, it provides translation of Lenovo ET980 interface to Russian language.
With Lenovo ET980 Russian support you can input information in Russian language in any
application on your Lenovo ET980, edit it, save, transfer to other Lenovo ET980 or
desktop computers and print documents including texts in Russian language.
Lenovo ET980 Russian support features:
- Optional full Lenovo ET980 interface Russian translation (all icons, menus,
dialogs of Lenovo ET980 interface and built-in Lenovo ET980 applications will be translated)
- On-screen keyboard layout for Russian letters input. You can use different
Russian layouts

on-screen keyboard or Lenovo ET980 external keyboard (not available in Pocket
PC, Pocket PC 2002 versions)
- Availability to adjust appearance of the on-screen keyboard layouts

- Special module for external Lenovo ET980 keyboard that allows using portable
keyboards to type in Russian with different Russian layouts
- Russian format of date and time (Lenovo ET980 Russian regional settings)
- Correct synchronization operations of Lenovo ET980 applications and desktop
applications (for example, MS Office applications)
- Modified Character Recognizer (Letter Recognizer) to write Russian symbols
(by default you can write only English symbols on Lenovo ET980), availability
to adjust it in your own way
- Correct print operation for documents in Russian

"The program is working perfectly. Just to feedback, I turned off translation of
the interface, because I am used to read English menues on the computer. Basically, I am using Russian
to type Word documents, such as messages to friends (it is better to express some thoughts in Russian).
I like appearing hinting words, while I am typing. It is very helpful and allows to type quicker. I am
thankful for a large selection of hinting words, which are covering broad range of subjects. Also switching
between Russian and English is extremely easy and allows to use Russian and English words in the same
document. Thank you for a good program and good customer support."
